OK, so I am trying a new Theme because while I like the text, I want to show the images nice and big as well. This blog will feature images that I shoot outside of weddings and every now and then, I may speak my mind about other issues as well so enjoy and comment!

These shots are from last weekend’s games in Houston ISD and Ft Bend ISD. I went to school in HISD and attended high school at Kashmere Sr. High (yes, I was a band nerd), but the first series is from Saturday’s game where Kashmere played Jesse Jones high school. Kashmere lost to Jones by a score of 29-12.
The second game was shot at Mercer stadium in Sugarland, Texas, between the Austin High school Bulldogs and the Hightower high school Hurricanes. Hightower won by a score of 45-7.
There is no other state in the union that gets as excited about football as we do here in Texas! High School Football is almost a religion down here. I shoot for schools in Ft. Bend ISD and Houston ISD and week to week, I’ll share some highlights here:

This is the First Varsity team that Travis has this year and they are a very excited bunch of young men. It;s good to see the school and the parents support them as well.
This month, Autism Speaks will be holding it annual Walk for Autism at the Reliant Stadium on October 18, 2008. Since I have a son with Autism, I volunteer with this organization and appreciate everything they do. The posting below is from last year and I will post shots from this year’s walk. Those that are close to me know that I have a son with Autism. You can read more about Dylan earlier in my blog. I was honored to shoot this event for Autism Speaks in the Houston area. They are doing great things in my opinion for children with Autism. With people like Jenny McCarty, Holly Robinson Peete, and Toni Braxton bringing attention to this issue, even more can be done.
