Houston Wedding Photographer – Photographics

I had the pleasure of meeting this young lady through a contest I held at a local Bridal salon.  she was one of the winners of a free 16×20 Bridal session and portrait (if you are a bride and would like to enter, send me an email with your wedding date and location to wedding@photosforu.com).  Her wedding was held back in March which is why I had to wait to post the images (couldn’t risk the groom seeing the bride before the wedding). 

We shot her session at Hermann park and Mecom Fountains which is near the Hotel ZaZa.  It is a very popular location to shoot both bridal and engagement sessions and we had a great time!  This session was shot close to sunset so you can see some of the great lighting we had to work with as well.

As a wedding photographer in Houston, I sometimes have the opportunity to shoot special events in and around the Houston area.  to continue my other post on wedding reception venues, I wanted to add this one – the Hotel ZaZa.

I had the opportunity to attend the grand opening of the new Hotel ZaZa in the Museum District last year.  This used to be the Warwick Hotel and was remodeled.  Parties were EVERYWHERE and everyone had a great time.  The place is designed beautifully and the staff members I met were extremely friendly.  They have several very nice ballrooms (and honeymoon suites) and if you choose this location for your wedding reception, you can;t go wrong.
